We have a great group of Trustees and we are very grateful for all the time they put in as volunteers. In 2024 the Trustees decided that we needed a wider range of lived experience, diversity and knowledge of the local area to fully reflect our values while maintaining the business and technical skills we need. To achieve this we were delighted to have appointed 3 new Trustees at the end of 2024; and as of January 2025 we have now 8 Trustees with 5 women from their early twenties upwards.
We are always on the look out for additional volunteers so please contact us if you are interested!

Vernon Neve-Dunn, Founder
I began the Southwark Tigers in 2000. It is a charity that uses sport, particularly rugby, to motivate and engage young people to achieve more. It is a fantastic way to take inner city children to different environments and use competition as a way of developing social and personal skills.
We set up Burgess Sports in 2012 to bring together all the fantastic work of the sports clubs in the area. Nowhere else in the country has a group of different sports clubs come together to find common ground.
